UP Board Class 10, 12 model paper 2026 released; check OMR rules, MCQ pattern

The UP Board Class 10, 12 model paper is accessible on the official website, upmsp.edu.in. The secondary and higher secondary exams will be held for a duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes. As per the UP board exam format, students must attempt all questions.

New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has released the UPMSP Class 10, 12 annual exams 2026 model paper. The UP Board Class 10, 12 model paper is accessible on the official website, upmsp.edu.in. The model question paper helps students to get an idea of the exam pattern and the marking scheme.

The Uttar Pradesh Board exam 2026 is scheduled to be held between February 18 to March 12. Over 52 lakh students will appear for the UPMSP board exams. The annual public exam will be held in two shifts. Shift 1 will be from 8.30 AM to 11.45 PM and shift 2 from 2 PM to 5.15 PM.

The secondary and higher secondary exams will be held for a duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes. As per the UP board exam format, students must attempt all questions. The marks assigned for each question will be mentioned against each question. Before the exam starts, students will get 15 minutes to read the question paper.

For Class 10, the question paper will be in two parts. Part A will have 20 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each and will have to be answered on an OMR answer sheet. Using erasers or whiteners on the OMR answer sheet is strictly prohibited. Part B will have descriptive questions of 50 marks. Question 1 is very short-answer, question 2 is short-answer and questions 3, 4, and 5 are long-answer. At the beginning of each question, it is clearly written total sections required to complete.

In the Class 12 Mathematics paper, there will be a total of nine questions and all are compulsory.

UP board exam dates 2026 revised

Recently, the UP board exams 2026 for Class 10 Madhyamik and Class 12 intermediate were revised. As per the revised dates, the Class 10 Hindi and Elementary Hindi exams will be in the first shift on February 18. The Class 12 Sanskrit paper will be held in the second shift on March 12. And the Class 12 Hindi and General Hindi papers will be held on the same date in the shift 2.
