New Delhi: Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film Dhurandhar is creating a lot of excitement among Bollywood fans. One of the big questions on everyone's mind is how long the movie will be.
Recent reports from a source from Bollywood Hungama reveal that Dhurandhar might be Ranveer’s longest film to date, running over three hours. The trailer launch, which was delayed, is now set for November 18, and fans eagerly wait to see what the film has in store.
Dhurandhar is expected to have a runtime of more than three hours, making it Ranveer Singh’s lengthiest movie so far. A source told Bollywood Hungama that the story of Dhurandhar is very big and detailed. The film mainly focuses on Ranveer Singh’s character and the challenges he faces. The source added, “Director Aditya Dhar does not want to rush through the story. He wants every scene to be interesting and engaging for the audience”.
Currently, the final length of the film is about 3 hours and 5 minutes, or 185 minutes. The exact timing will be confirmed soon by the film’s director, Aditya Dhar, along with the producers from Jio Studios and B62 Studios. It is still not decided if the length will be shortened or remain the same. If it stays this long, Dhurandhar will be Ranveer Singh’s longest film ever.
Before this, Ranveer’s longest film was Dil Dhadakne Do, released in 2015, which was 2 hours and 51 minutes long. Other long films of his include Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023) at 2 hours and 48 minutes, and 83 (2021) and Padmaavat (2018), both around 2 hours and 43 minutes. His shortest film was Kill Dil (2014), lasting only 1 hour and 57 minutes.
The film Dhurandhar features other well-known actors like Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun. The trailer launch event will take place on November 18, with the team members, except Sanjay Dutt and Akshaye Khanna, expected to be present.
With such a large cast and an intense story, fans are keenly waiting to see how Dhurandhar unfolds on screen and whether it lives up to the expectations set by its long runtime and star cast.
