Arijit Singh overtakes Taylor Swift on Spotify: Know his net worth

New Delhi: Recently overtaking international musicians like BTS, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and more, Arijit Singh became the most followed artist in the world for the third time. He recently collaborated with Ed Sheeran to make the groovy multilingual track Sapphire.

After a very successful year releasing hit tracks like Dhun from Saiyara, Jaane Tu from Vicky Kaushal's blockbuster Chhaava and a string of international collaborations like Weightless and Angels for Each Other with Martin Garrix and Sapphire with Ed Sheeran, Arijit Singh has made his way to everyone’s playlists.

Keeping in line with that, the latest data from Spotify says that he has overtaken international artists like Taylor Swift, The Weeknd and Billie Eilish to become the most followed artist on the platform. The data also showed that Arijit Singh has amassed a whopping following of 151 million streamers. This is ahead of worldwide sensation Taylor Swift’s 139 million followers, who come second on the list. Notable musicians like Ed Sheeran with 121 million followers, Billie Eilish with 114 million and The Weeknd with 107.2 million also feature on the list.

Despite being known for his simple and humble nature, Arijit boasts a massive net worth of Rs 414 crores. According to media reports, he charges Rs 14 crores for a two-hour live show and Rs 10 Lakhs for a single Bollywood song. He also owns multiple houses in Versova, a posh locality of Mumbai. Each of these four houses is reported to cost around Rs 9 crores.

Arijit also has a collection of luxury cars, including a Range Rover Vogue valued at Rs 1.8-4 crore, a Hummer H3 worth Rs 70 Lakhs and a Mercedes Benz worth Rs 1.5 crore.

According to various media reports, Arijit’s monthly income is Rs 6 crores, and his annual income is around Rs 70 crores.
