Mumbai: Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan's upcoming romantic movie Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is all set to release in theatres on March 4, 2026. The makers of the movie, directed Mudassar Aziz, announced the news on Saturday. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Renu Ravi Chopra. Juno Chopra is the creative producer of the movie.
Sharing the poster of the movie on Instagram, T Series captioned it, "Every husband has his own little absurd world —one that may trouble him, but never fails to make us all laugh!” The movie is a spiritual sequel to the 2019 romantic-comedy Pati Patni Aur Woh, which starred Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday. The story revolves around a married man who gets infatuated with a younger fashion designer, leaving his wife in trouble.

The movie is a remake of a 1978 film, directed by BR Chopra, which featured Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta Kaur.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann's new horror-comedy, Thamma, is all set to hit the theatres on October 21. The movie features Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Paresh Rawal and Sathyaraj in key roles. It is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Dinesh Vijan.
"We are high on comedy. Though I enjoyed Lokah, but I also feel that…I was shooting in Allahabad at that time, and it was not released there. So ours is a more massy film because it penetrates down to the Hindi-speaking markets also. Lokah could be a good induction for certain multiplex audiences towards this thing, but we have a different genesis, different situations, and it’s a different story. But there’s hardly any similarities," said Ayshmann about the film in an interview, addressing its comparisons with the Malayalam movie Lokah.
Sara, on the other hand, was last seen in the movie "Metro…In Dino", which was released in July.
The cast of the movie consisted of Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur and Saswata Chatterjee.
