New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will be back as the most loved host on the small screen with the upcoming season of the controversial reality show, Bigg boss Season 19. As Bigg Boss 19 is set to premiere soon, several contestants names and Salman Khan’s fees for the upcoming season are doing rounds on the internet.

According to the latest reports, Salman Khan is charging staggering Rs 150 to Rs 120 crore for the first three months. Reportedly, the actor charged Rs 60 crore per month for the previous seasons, making his total earnings close to Rs 250 crore. However, there is no official confirmation on Salman’s fees as of yet.

If reports are to be believed, the highly anticipated Season 19 of Bigg Boss will have its grand premiere on August 30 on JioHotstar and will be digital first show, new episodes will first premiere on OTT and 90 minutes later, they will release on Colors TV. A few reports also suggest that the show will run for five months with Salman Khan hosting for the first 15 weeks, after which hosting duties will be reportedly taken up by Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Anil Kapoor.

According to latest reports, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actors Gurucharan Singh, Sailesh Lodha and Jennifer Mistry Bansiwala have been approached for the show. However, Jennifer denied being part of the show. Indian Express quoted the actress saying, "I have no idea about this. I was approached for the show last year. This year, I have not yet been approached.”

Some of the other names doing rounds are Gautami Kapoor, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Gaurav Taneja, Mr Faisu, Dhanashree Verma, Apoorva Mukhija, Payal Dhare and Mickey Makeover.

Reportedly, this year, Bigg Boss 19 will have a total of 15 contestants and three wildcard contestants will join the later. It is also being reported that some ex-contestants might also enter the house towards the end. A source was quoted as saying, "The bedroom can only accommodate 15 people in the house this year. There will be 15 beds, and most likely there might not be any double beds in the house this time.”

Bigg Boss 19 will have a politics-themed format this year and contestants will be divided into two teams, the ruling party and the opposition. Each team will be required to nominate one member from their team every week to contest for the position of leader and final decision will be taken through a ballot vote. The elected contestants will then form the ‘sarkaar’ for the week, according to Indian Express report.
