New Delhi: Ciao folks! Emily is all set to make a comeback on our screens with a new season and this time, not from Paris but Italy. The makers have officially announced the new season of the popular show, Emily In Paris, along with its much-awaited release date. The first looks of the cast have also been unveiled, levelling up the excitement among fans.

Emily In Paris is Netflix Original, which is an American romantic-comedy, created by Darren Star. It revolves around Emily, a marketing executive from Chicago, who moves to Paris to provide an American perspective at a well-established French marketing firm.

Lily Collins-starrer, Emily In Paris Season 5, will drop on Netflix on December 18, 2025. The season will have a total of 10 episodes, all releasing together. The makers also unveiled the first look of the cast and their refreshing fashion statements. The post on Instagram is captioned, “Benvenuto! The first look images from Emily in Paris are here, and they’re serving up a slice of la dolce vita! Season 5 returns on December 18.”

In Emily In Paris Season 5, Emily goes to Venice as she becomes the new head of Agence Grateau Rome. It revolves around Emily’s work struggle when her project doesn’t go as planned, causing a major heartbreak and setbacks. However, she will continue to battle cultural differences.

The cast include, Lily Collins, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, Lucien Laviscount, Thalia Besson, Paul Forman, Arnaud Binard, Minnie Driver, Bryan Greenberg, and Michèle Laroque, among others.

Though, Emily In Paris shifts to Rome, Paris remains central of the story. Creator Dareen Star clarified in a 2024 interview, “Emily is working in Rome sometimes. Sylvie’s company has an office in Rome. Emily’s getting that on its feet. But it’s definitely not a permanent move — we’re not leaving Paris." Even French President Emmanuel Joked that he would “fight hard” to keep the series in Paris.
