New Delhi: Ganesh Chaturthi 2025 saw Bollywood’s brightest join millions across the country in welcoming Ganpati Bappa with joy, prayers, and festive spirit. From heartfelt Instagram posts to family moments and emotional messages, celebrities made sure to spread festive cheer online even as notable faces like Shilpa Shetty didn't participate this year for personal reasons. Here’s a sneak peek into how your favourite stars marked this special occasion.
The ten-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival kicked off with film stars showcasing their devotion and festive vibes on social media. Kareena Kapoor Khan wished fans “Happy Ganesh Chaturthi,” sharing a beautifully adorned idol with the heartfelt message, “Celebrations are always brighter with Bappa’s blessings.” Akshay Kumar, ahead of his film release Jolly LLB 3, greeted everyone with a warm, “Aap aur apke parivaar ko Ganesh Chaturthi ke dher saare shubhkamnaye. Ganpati Bappa Morya.”
Priyanka Chopra brought nostalgia with a post set to “Deva Shree Ganesha” from her film Agneepath, spreading joy to fans globally. Shahid Kapoor’s wish encouraged new beginnings, saying, “Here’s to fearless starts and unstoppable journeys with Bappa’s grace.” Ananya Panday welcomed “my favouritest Bappa” home, while Sonam Kapoor posted a sweet Lord Ganesh GIF.
Sharing the tradition, Suniel Shetty sent heartfelt blessings, and Athiya Shetty posted an artistic Ganesh illustration.
