New Delhi: Anurag Basu’s latest romantic drama, Metro…In Dino, is all set to have its digital premiere this month, according to reports. The film was released in theatres on July 4, 2025 and collected Rs 56.12 crore in India and had a gross collection of Rs 66.22 crore. The movie was a spiritual sequel of 2007 film, Life In A…Metro.
The film has an ensemble cast, including Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi Konkona Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher, and Neena Gupta, among others.

According to India Times report, Metro…In Dino will be released on online streaming platform, Netflix and is eyeing the OTT premiere around August 29, 2025. However, an official confirmation from the makers or production house is still awaited. If the reports turn out to be true, the film will follow common eight-week gap between a film’s theatrical and digital release.

Directed by Anurag Basu and produced by T-Series, Metro…In Dino, revolves around the lives of four contemporary couples across Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru and each story is a different take on modern relationships, complications, and transformative journey of self-realisation.
After its theatrical release, the film received mixed response from the audiences. The film is rated 7.3 out of 10 on IMDb and 64 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes.

Metro…In Dino opened in theatres with Rs 3.5 crore and minted Rs 6 crore and Rs 7.25 crore in its first weekend, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The film collected Rs 29.57 crore in its first week, Rs 17.64 crore in its second week, Rs 6.54 crore in its third week, Rs 1.93 crore in its fourth week, and Rs 44 lakh in its fifth week. The film had a total India net collection of Rs 56.12 crore and collected Rs 67.47 crore at the worldwide box office.
