New Delhi: Chhaava has proven to be one of the most successful films of Bollywood hunk Vicky Kaushal's theatrical journey so far. Apparently, the renowned actor worked incredibly hard to bring the legendary character to life, and his dedication was clearly evident in his performance onscreen.
According to a TV9Hindi report, Bigg Boss voice-over artist and Chhaava cast member Vijay Vikram Singh revealed that there was a scene in the film where Vicky's character is announced as the next Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire. In that scene, he is walking at the front, with the characters played by Ashutosh Rana and Vineet Kumar behind him.
Vijay added that, at that moment, Vicky was completely immersed in his character. Realising the gravity of becoming the next Chhatrapati, his eyes welled up with tears and he repeatedly became emotional. Vicky even cried during the shooting of the scene. As a result, three to four retakes were done to complete the sequence because Vicky's eyes kept getting teary.
