Vijay Deverakondas Kingdom to have its first show in US, not in India
Actor Vijay Deverakonda starrer Kingdom is all set to have its first show in the United States before its India release. The film is scheduled to release in India on July 31.
New Delhi: Gowtam Tinnauri’s Kingdom starring Vijay Deverakonda and Bhagyashri Borse, is all set to release in theatres on July 31. In the latest development, the film will not be first released in India, but in US. Yes, you read it right! The film will have its first premiere show on July 30, 2025 in the US and in India, the film will have its first show on July 31.
Therefore, the audience in India will watch the film only hours after its premiere in the US. The much-awaited spy action film, Kingdom, has been creating a massive hype across India ahead of its release.
Kingdom first show in US, not India
Vijay Deverakonda’s highly anticipated movie, Kingdom, will have its first show at IST 11 pm on July 30 in the United States in selective theatres. The first show will premiere at 1:30 pm EST, 12:30 pm CST, and 10:30 am PST. The first show in India will be after 7 am in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on July 31.
Usually, the first show timings are aligned between India and the US, even when paid premieres are held in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana a day before its release date.
According to the distributer, Shloka Entertainments, the film has sold over 1.35 lakhs tickets are already sold in India, hinting that the film will open big at the box office. According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, the film will collect around Rs 15 crore in India and around Rs 20 to 25 crore worldwide.
He told us, "The movie will have a good opening because the trailer was good. Vijay Devarkonda, the director and Anirudh are already creating a lot of buzz. The advance booking looks good in both India and the USA. So, it will open big. If the content meets the hype, it will be a blockbuster. But the opening will be very good. It will be certainly best for Vijay Devarkonda. In India, film’s collection is expected to be Rs 15 crore and worldwide it will be around Rs 20-25 crore.”
