While the film is close to crossing the Rs 150 crore mark but the early estimates by the industry tracker Sacnilk suggest that the film's earnings will see a decline in its third day of theatrical release. The most anticipated film of the year, War 2, has finally been released in the theatres. But as per the netizens' and critics' reviews, the movie is overhyped. Also, neither the editing, nor the acting, nor the storyline is compelling. Everything about the film seems over dramatic and over exaggerated. But the box office numbers tell a completely different story.

In its three-day theatrical release, the film is close to entering the Rs 150 crore club. People are booking tickets to watch the film out of excitement, but are coming out with disappointment and negative reviews. The film grossed Rs 52 crore on its first day, followed by an increase in collection on its second day, with the amount of Rs 57.35 crore. On the third day, early estimates suggest that the film will earn Rs 33 crore. This makes a total of Rs 142 crore. All of these box office collections have been reported by the Industry tracker Sacnilk. 

Talking about the occupancy rates, War 2 had an overall 31.42 per cent Hindi Occupancy on Saturday. While the film had 48.71 per cent Tamil Occupancy and 42.19 per cent Telugu Occupancy.

This film, War 2, is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Yash Raj Films. It stars Kiara Advani, Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Anil Kapoor in lead roles. The film's storyline is from a spy universe and shows Hrithik in the role of Major Kabir Dhaliwal. It is full of suspense, thriller, and action stunts. The movie is a sequel to the 2019 film War.
