New Delhi: A devastating fire broke out at Mahajan Electronics in Delhi's Moti Nagar on Monday. It left four people dead and one critically injured.
According to reports, the blaze started on the second floor of the building. The Moti Nagar police station received the call and immediately dispatched fire tenders along with the Station House Officer (SHO) and other personnel to the spot.
Local residents said five people were trapped inside when the fire erupted. After intense rescue efforts, all of them were pulled out and rushed to a hospital. However, four victims succumbed to their injuries, while one person is undergoing treatment.
An investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of the fire.
