Newly wed couple apologise for photoshoot at Tirumala Tirupati Temple
The couple identified as Tirumal and Gayathri, got married at Kalyana Vedika in Tirumala, located within the premises of the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple.
Tirumala Tirupati Temple: A newly-wed couple from Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu had to issue an apology for conducting a photoshoot on the premises of Tirumala Tirupati Temple.
The couple identified as Tirumal and Gayathri, got married at Kalyana Vedika in Tirumala, located within the premises of the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple. Later, the couple posed for photos at Gollamandapam, in violation of rules.

Unaware of the ban on photography inside the temple, they expressed regret and promptly deleted the images once informed of the rules.
As penance for their mistake, the couple expressed their willingness to serve through Sri Vari Seva (service to Lord Venkateswara). They expressed their desire to atone for their mistake through devotional service.

Meanwhile, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has initiated measures for the preservation of ancient structures and is making efforts to protect ancient structures, night shelters, and staircases in the Tirumala area.
The TTD has established a Conservation and Preservation Cell within its engineering department. As part of this initiative, it is restoring the Padala Mandapam in Tirupati to its former glory and has undertaken restoration works.
