TDP received Rs 83 crore in donations in FY 2024-25, data says
Natco Pharma emerged as the biggest donor, with donations of Rs 7 crore to the TDP and Rs 1.5 crore to Jana Sena.
Visakhapatnam: Telugu Desam Party, which is in power in Andhra Pradesh, received donations of Rs 83 crore in financial year 2024-25, Election Commission data said.
Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena, which is a coalition partner of the TDP, has received Rs 25.33 crore in donations in FY 2024-25. Natco Pharma emerged as the biggest donor, with donations of Rs 7 crore to the TDP and Rs 1.5 crore to Jana Sena.
In fiscal year 2023-24, TDP received total donations of over Rs 100 crore, with electoral bonds amounting to Rs 33 crore.
In FY 2024-25, YSRCP received total donations of Rs 140 crore, of which Rs 113 crore came through electoral bonds. Natco Pharma donated Rs 10 crore to YSRCP in the same fiscal year. After it was routed in Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in 2024, YCP received just Rs 3.94 crore in total.
