A car caught fire after an explosion near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi. The blaze also spread to one or two nearby cars parked close to the spot. The Delhi Fire Department said, "A call was received regarding an explosion in a car near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station, after which three to four vehicles also caught fire and sustained damage." A high alert has been sounded in Delhi after the explosion.

A 23-year-old woman from Andhra Pradesh died in her sleep in the USA on Friday, November 7, reports said. The student Rajyalakshmi Yarlagadda, recently graduated from Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi campus and had been searching for a job after completing her studies. Rajyalakshmi had been suffering from a severe cough and chest pain for three days before passing away in her sleep. On November 7, when her alarm bell rang, she did not wake up, her cousin Chaitanya YVK said.

Unidentified gunmen on Sunday killed a police Head Constable inside a mosque in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, local police said. Head Constable Shah Nawaz was gunned down in Mohammad Akbar village, located in the jurisdiction of Gul Imam Police Station, Tank district, bordering Afghanistan. According to police, the slain officer was on leave and had returned home when the assailants targeted him during prayers.
