The flight AI2380, being operated with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, was scheduled to depart the Delhi airport around 11 pm, but was delayed. The aircraft's air conditioning system and the electric supply were faulty, said a journalist from PTI who was onboard the aircraft.

Air India has been in the news for all the wrong reasons in recent times. From clogged toilets to faulty seats, the passengers onboard the airlines have complained about several problems in the past. In January this year, an Air India passenger claimed that he found a piece of blade in the food served to him onboard a San Francisco-bound flight.
