He didn't hold back in warning election officials, and added: "Want to tell 3 election commissioners that when there'll be a INDIA bloc govt, we will take action against you for vote theft."

INDIA bloc mulls impeachment motion against CEC

Rahul's outburst came a day after Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar on Sunday set a seven-day deadline for leader of opposition in LS Rahul Gandhi to either submit a declaration under oath along with proof of electoral roll irregularities alleged by him, or apologise to the nation as his ‘vote theft’ claims are rendered baseless and invalid.

The opposition INDIA bloc is also mulling over bringing an impeachment motion against CEC Gyanesh Kumar.

This comes days after Rahul Gandhi unveiled what he had described as an “atom bomb” of evidence against the Election Commission. He cited data from Mahadevapura assembly segment under the Bengaluru Central parliamentary constituency in Karnataka and accused the EC of colluding with BJP. Mr Gandhi said the Congress had analyzed the Mahadevapura electoral rolls over six months and found over 1 lakh "bogus voters".
