New Delhi: An Indian biker was robbed in the UK, while he was a world tour. He shared a video on social media asking his followers for help. Yogesh Alekari, also known as Roaming Wheels online, was left without his bike, cash, his passport and camera equipment. 

Alekari had started his journey from Mumbai on his KTM motorcycle on the first of May. His plan was to ride through multiple terrains, covering 24,000 kilometres across 17 countries. On reaching the UK in August. He left his bike at a parking spot in Wollaton Park, Nottingham, to grab some breakfast. Little did he know, his worst night mare would come true. When he returned, his bike along with his travel and filming essentials were stolen.

Immediately, he informed Nottinghamshire Police. Later, Alekari took to social media to explain the incident. Speaking in a video, the man stated, "I was told they would call me back, and I waited in the park, but they never did." In another clip that showcased the CCTV footage of the incident, "They stole my motorcycle, but this wasn’t only a motorbike - it was my home, it was my dream, it was my everything as a traveler." 

Social media users were quick to respond to the video. They consoled him band asked him to stay strong. They also asked him to contact the Indian embassy soon. "Yogesh sending you lots of strength and and love. Do not worry keep us posted. There are people in London who want to help you pls reach out to them. Do let is know if we can help you in any way. We will help you .. don't worry focus on tings at hand.. we all stand with you..," said one. Another added, "Very unfortunate. Stay strong. Connect with Indian Embassy. I am sure they will take necessary steps."
