New Delhi: In a horrifying incident, three perpetrators brutally stabbed to death a 22-year-old law student in Madhya Pradesh. According to reports, the incident happened over a dispute over who would fill fuel first at a petrol pump near Gate No. 3 of Ayodhya Nagar's Minal Residency Colony on Wednesday.
The murdered law student and his friend were waiting in a queue at the petrol pump to refuel their scooter. However, the three accused came after them and demanded that their scooter be filled before the deceased.
The deceased objected to this, and a dispute broke out. However, the matter did not die down there. Later, the three accused chased the victim, assaulted him and fatally stabbed him. According to ASI Manoj Sharma, the investigating officer of this case, the deceased has been identified as Sanskar Babele. The 22-year-old person hailed from Bina and was a law student in Indore.
He had returned to Bhopal to meet a distant relative and friend, Anmol Dubey, who is a student of engineering. Sanskar was supposed to go back to Bina along with Anmol on Wednesday.
Sanskar and Anmol went to the railway station on a scooter for tea at around 4:15 am. Then they went to the petrol pump to refuel their vehicle. Shortly after, three youths arrived on a scooter. When they told the attendant at the petrol pump to refuel their scooter first, Sanskar and Anmol raised objections, and an argument ensued.
Sanskar and Anmol tried to flee, but the three accused chased and assaulted them. One of them took out a knife and stabbed Sanskar fatally in the abdomen before fleeing the scene. The entire incident has been captured on CCTV. The police have claimed to have significant leads and are trying to identify the three perpetrators based on the registration number of the scooter.
