The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a significant breakthrough in the Red Fort bombing case, arresting a key aide of the suicide bomber responsible for the attack.

The arrested individual has been identified as Amir Rashid Ali, a resident of Samboora in Pampore, Jammu and Kashmir. Ali is believed to be an associate of Dr. Umar, the suicide bomber linked to the incident.

Investigations have revealed that the i20 car used in the blast, which tragically claimed 13 lives and injured over 30 people, was registered in Amir Rashid Alis name. The NIA is currently working in close coordination with the Delhi Police, Jammu and Kashmir Police, Haryana Police, and Uttar Pradesh Police, alongside other agencies, to pursue multiple leads and uncover the broader conspiracy behind the devastating Red Fort blast. Multi-state search operations are ongoing as part of this extensive probe.
