Noida: In a shocking case reported from Noida, a 15-month-old child was beaten up and her head smashed against a wall, at a day care centre. Her ordeal however did not end just there, the day-care worker reportedly also bit the child at multiple places on her body. The entire incident was captured on CCTV and has sent shockwaves across the country, especially among working parents, who depend upon the day care facilities the most.
The day care facility where the child was tortured is located in Paras Tierra Society in Sector 137, Noida.
According to reports when the child returned home with her mother, she had some injuries on her thighs. The doctors confirmed them to be bote marks. The parents of the girl alleged that their daughter was tortured by a maid working at the day-care facility.
The maid reportedly slapped the child multiple times, threw her on the floor and also hit her using a plastic belt. The entire incident was captured on the CCTV installed at the day care facility. The child can be heard crying loudly in the footage.
The parents have also alleged that even as their child suffered, the day-care owner did not intervene. When the parents approached them and complained to the day-care owner, she reportedly resorted to using abusive language and also threatened the couple.
Based on the parents complaint, an FIR has been registered at the Sector 142 police station. The maid who beat up the child has been arrested by the police.
