Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently visited the Surat Bullet Train Station in Gujarat to assess the ongoing progress of India’s inaugural high-speed rail corridor. The inspection provided a direct overview of construction activities, station design elements, and upcoming project milestones.

During his visit, PM Modi engaged directly with project workers, inquiring about their experiences and the projects adherence to its timetable. Workers shared their enthusiasm, with one from Kerala highlighting his role in the robotic unit for noise barrier construction in Navsari.

Another worker, Shruti, a Lead Engineering Manager from Bangalore, detailed the meticulous design and engineering control processes, emphasising continuous problem-solving. Many expressed a profound sense of pride, considering the bullet train project a "dream" and a significant contribution to the nation.

PM Modi underscored the importance of documenting these unique experiences to facilitate future high-speed rail projects across the country, recognising the national identity and achievement embodied by the bullet train.
