Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin will inaugurate the Tamil Nadu Global Women's Summit at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, today, January 27, 2026. Organized by the Tamil Nadu Women’s Employment and Safety (TNWESafe) scheme, the two-day summit aims to forge robust pathways for the social and economic empowerment of women across the state, enhancing their participation in the formal workforce.

More than 70 distinguished personalities are slated to speak, with discussions designed to shape actionable, state-level implementation plans for the TNWESafe project.
