CM Revanth Reddy to Kavitha: Don’t drag Congress into family dispute
CM Revanth Reddy said that he believes in leading from the front and he is not interested in hiding behind anyone.
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy slammed K Kavitha, who alleged that BRS MLA T Harish Rao and the CM colluded to break Kalavakuntla family.
Speaking at a public meeting in Mahabubnagar, he said that BRS leaders make different statements according to their convenience. "Why would hide behind anyone’s feud? One says that Revanth Reddy is behind Harish Rao and Santosh. Another says that he is behind Kavitha. I lead from the front and I will be with 4 crore people of the state and I will work for them.”
He also stated, "Everyone knows the developments that are happening. Please don’t drag us into your dispute, into your family and caste panchayats. We have no interest. People have rejected them and I don’t have the time to meet them.”
‘Diversion from Kaleshwaram corruption’:
Meanwhile, Telangana BJP said that Kavitha’s episode is of no use to the state and is part of diversion from Kaleshwaram corruption case.
"There is nothing new in what Kavita said. BJP has been saying from the beginning that the KCR family has committed corruption and looted Telangana. Congress and BRS are staging drama together in the state.”
On Wednesday, Kavitha resigned from party membership and as BRS MLC while accusing Harish Rao of colluding with Revanth Reddy to separate their family. She also alleged that Harish Rao and Santosh Rao want to destroy BRS.
