Hyderabad: Intermediate second-year student murdered in Warasiguda
The accused Uma Shankar allegedly slit her throat with a kitchen knife in front of her mother, according to reports.
Hyderabad: An unidentified man broke into a house in Bapuji Nagar basti of Musheerabad division and brutally stabbed a 17-year-old girl to death with a knife and fled, tv9 telugu reported.
The accused Uma Shankar, reportedly wanted to marry the girl but her parents refused the match due to his drinking issues.
The accused allegedly slit her throat with a kitchen knife in front of her mother, reports said. Warasiguda police reached the spot and examined the body. The clues team and the police are collecting details. Shankar reportedly left his mobile phone at the scene of crime.
Double murder accused hunted, shot and killed:
A man who is an accused in a double murder case was stabbed, bludgeoned with stones and shot to death by unidentified people in Jawahar Nagar area of Hyderabad on Monday.
The victim identified as 45-year-old Venkataratnam, was traveling on his bike when assailants followed him and was intercepted by those who arrived in an auto and bike. After committing the crime, the assailants fled on a bike and the killing was recorded on a nearby CCTV camera. The footage later went viral.
A preliminary investigation into the murder revealed that a previous enmity could be the reason behind the stabbing.
