Telangana: 15 students fall ill from food poisoning in Gadwal district

At least 15 students have fallen ill and one is in critical condition after consuming contaminated food at a Government SC Hostel in Jogulamba Gadwal district, Telangana.

The students consumed breakfast at the hostel and half an hour later, began vomiting. They were immediately rushed to the local government hospital, reports said. 

The students reportedly found worms in the upma they were served and told the warden, who later threw the food away. They were given bananas and biscuits and were sent to class. They began complaining of stomach ache and vomiting in class.
