Hyderabad: A strong cold wave has hit Telangana as the state recorded the coldest morning of the season so far. Ginnedari in Komarambheem Asifabad recording 5.4°C. Moinabad in Rangareddy recorded 5.5°C followed by Arli in Adilabad recording 6.1°C. Siddipet, Nirmal, Vikarabad, Medak, Narayanpet, Kamareddy recorded less than 8°C.
Meanwhile, temperatures have remained low in the city over the last three days as HCU Serilingampally recorded 7.1°C followed by Rajendra Nagar, which recorded 8.3°C. Moula Ali recorded 8.8°C and Gachibowli recorded 10.6°C, as per Telangana Development Planning Society data.
In Hyderabad, humidity is going to remain low on Thursday and the city will see clear blue skies.
IMD forecast:
As per India Meteorological Department forecast, minimum temperatures will likely be below normal by 3°C to 4°C at some places over the next 2-3 days.
Cold wave conditions will likely prevail in Adilabad, Komarambheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Mahabubabad, Jangaon, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy districts over the next three days, the weather department said.
