Telangana: Three women killed, 11 injured in road accident in Mancherial district

Hyderabad: Three women were killed and eleven others were injured when a speeding lorry hit the van in Mandamarri, Mancherial district of Telangana on Monday, December 22.

About 23 workers from Chandrapur village in Maharashtra boarded a van to attend agriculture work in Karimnagar district and when the van reached Indaram village, Jaipur mandal in Mancherial, the lorry hit the van, the police said.

One woman died immediately while two others died while undergoing treatment. Around 13 people were injured and are undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.

The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.

Motorist injured after scooter rams into stationary bus:

A man sustained injuries after his electric scooter ran into a stationary bus near Kukatpally in early hours of Sunday.

The injured man identified as V Manoj, was traveling from Y-Junction towards JNTU. The bus was reportedly parked on the road without any measures and Manoj reportedly collided with it from behind.

20-year-old man stabbed by friends:

A 20-year-old man was stabbed by his friends after a row over a girl in Balapur area of the city on Sunday, December 21.

The stabbing took place when the young man identified as Rehan had gone to attend a function in Balapur with his two friends Shahnawaz and Moize. They stabbed him after an argument took place over an issue involving a girl. Rehan has been shifted to Osmania General Hospital.
