Dehradun: The weather in Uttarakhand is once again turning cold and unpredictable. According to the Meteorological Department, rain and snowfall are expected in several districts today, Tuesday, February 3rd.
While the higher Himalayan regions will be covered in snow, the plains will face foggy conditions.
Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Nainital, and Pithoragarh can see snowfall
Snowfall is likely in the upper reaches of Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Nainital, and Pithoragarh. Rain is expected in the lower areas of these districts. Fresh snowfall is forecast above 2,800 meters, including famous peaks like Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Munsyari. This will bring cheer to tourists and skiers but also lower temperatures in the hilly regions.
