Dehradun: The winter chill has tightened its grip on Uttarakhand, with temperatures dropping sharply in many districts. In the capital Dehradun, residents are experiencing biting cold in the mornings and evenings, while bright sunshine during the day offers temporary relief.

However, the cold intensifies as night falls, making life difficult in both plains and hilly regions.
