New Delhi: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will hold a crucial meeting of its floor leaders at 6 PM today at the residence of Union Minister Prahlad Joshi.

The meeting assumes importance as the Vice-Presidential post fell vacant following the resignation of Jagdeep Dhankhar on July 21, citing health reasons. The Election Commission has already set the nomination deadline for August 21. The polling is scheduled on September 9.
