Woman, lover kill husband; bury body 6 feet under floor in Palghar home

A woman allegedly killed her husband with the help of her lover, buried his body six feet under the floor of their house and continued living there. The duo even laid new tiles over the spot and spent intimate moments together in the same room.

New Delhi: A shocking incident has come to light from the Nalasopara area of Palghar district in Maharashtra. In the gruesome case, a woman, with the help of her lover, murdered her husband and buried his body six feet beneath the floor of their house. After the burial, they re-laid tiles over the spot and continued to live there, with the woman reportedly spending intimate moments with her lover in the same room.

According to available information, the body of a man named Vijay Chauhan who is of the age 35 and a resident of Om Sai Welfare Society in Dhaniv Baug area of Nalasopara East, was recovered from about six feet beneath the ground inside his own home. The incident has sent shockwaves across the locality. The morning of Monday, which is July 21, turned out to be startling for the residents of Dhaniv Baug, when it was reported from the Om Sai Welfare Society that Vijay Chauhan had been murdered and buried inside his house. His wife was found missing, along with a 20-year-old youth named Sonu Sharma. He lived nearby.
