New Delhi: Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar brought the wow factor when she glided down the runway as the showstopper for ace designer Ritu Kumar at the Hyundai India Couture Week 2025. The temperature at the venue rose as soon as she walked gracefully in a golden lehenga. Her blouse with a cape instead of a dupatta drew everyone’s attention. Pednekar’s bold lip colour with a dewy base for her makeup enhanced her look. For her jewellery, the diva wore emerald studs and a diamond necklace with an emerald centre stone.

On Day 5, fashion enthusiasts witnessed veteran designer Ritu Kumar present her latest collection – Threads of Time. The brilliant designer has been active in the fashion industry for above five decades.
Ritu Kumar is always mindful of evolving fashion trends, particularly among the younger generation owing to their ever-changing requirement. With her latest collection Threads of Time, Ritu Kumar has proved it – her collection can work for the changing time and changing minds. It honoured craft, memory, and a future-forward vision.
A designer faces multiple challenges as they need to evolve constantly with changing time and generation to cater to the changing fashion needs. This is why Kumar’s idea of blending traditional Indian textiles with modern design works, and the same is reflected in her latest collection at ICW.
