New Delhi: There has been a growing trend of bringing home an air fryer, and it is for all the right reasons, from less oil, only air heat and a healthy variant of cooking. It has blown up the Indian market, and people are willing to welcome a new gadget home to cook some delicious recipes without compromising on the flavours. 

The magical cosy evenings during winter crave for a lot of snacking that is delicious and full of guilt, but what if you can now prepare yourself delicious items which taste the same as unhealthy or even better, but are 90 per cent less unhealthy or bad for the body. 1. Masala corn fritters

Ingredients

  • 1 cup boiled sweet corn
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 tbsp besan
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp oil

How to prepare:

  • Mix boiled corn with besan, rice flour, spices, coriander and salt well to form a batter.
  • Shape into rough-fritter-like balls.
  • Air fry at 180°C for 12 minutes and serve hot with chutney. 

2. Cheesy garlic bites

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bread, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp mixed herbs
  • 3 tbsp grated mozzarella
  • Salt

How to prepare:

  • Toss bread cubes in melted butter, garlic, herbs and salt.
  • Add mozzarella and mix lightly.
  • Air fry at 170°C for 8 minutes until golden. 

3. Air-fried aloo tikki

Ingredients

  • 3 boiled potatoes, mashed
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander
  • Salt
  • Oil spray

How to prepare:

  • Mix all the items and form the tikkis.
  • Brush lightly with oil.
  • Air fry at 180°C for 15 minutes and serve hot with mint chutney.
