New Delhi: Vishwakarma Puja or Vishwakarma Jayanti is dedicated to Lord Vishwakarma, who is revered as the divine engineer of the world. He was born out of Samudra Manthan along with other precious things. The day is also observed as the birthday of Lord Vishwakarma, who is also credited with constructing the city of Dwarka, where Lord Krishna ruled.
