The IPL 2025 witnessed a new champion as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) ended their title drought of 18 years with a sensational win over Punjab Kings (PBKS). Virat Kohli finally claimed the silverware that was missing from his glittering trophy cabinet as IPL got its new champion after a tournament featuring 10 teams and 74 matches, which concluded on June 3.

IPL 2015 winners Mumbai Indians - Rohit Sharma once again got the better of Dhoni in an IPL final as the Mumbai-based franchise defeated CSK by 41 runs and won their second IPL title.

IPL 2016 winners Sunrisers Hyderabad - David Warner-led SRH beat RCB against all odds in a high-scoring and intense match by 8 runs to claim the maiden IPL title.

IPL 2017 winners Mumbai Indians - MI defeated newbies Rising Pune Supergiant in a low-scoring, nail-biting encounter by 1 run and won their 3rd IPL trophy.

IPL 2018 winners Chennai Super Kings - Making a comeback after a 2-year ban, CSK enjoyed a dream campaign as they crushed SRH in the finals by 8 wickets to claim their 3rd IPL title.

IPL 2019 winners Mumbai Indians - Rohit Sharma's Mumbai defeated Dhoni-led CSK in a cliffhanger by 1 run in the final, edging the Yellow Army for the 3rd consecutive time in the IPL final.

IPL 2020 winners Mumbai Indians - MI beat Delhi Capitals by 5 wickets and created history by winning a record 5th IPL title in the span of just 8 years.

IPL 2021 winners Chennai Super Kings - CSK batters crushed KKR's hopes of winning a third title with a 27-run win and claimed their 4th IPL title.

IPL 2022 winners Gujarat Titans - Playing their first ever IPL season, Hardik Pandya and GT stunned everyone by winning their first ever IPL title in their first season itself as they defeated RR by 7 wickets.

IPL 2024 winners Kolkata Knight Riders - SRH were left clueless by a superb bowling display by KKR as they were bowled out for 113 - a target that the Kolkata-based franchise chased down for the loss of just two wickets. The Shreyas Iyer-led side claimed their 3rd IPL title and ended a decade-long trophy drought.

IPL 2025 winners Royal Challengers Bengaluru - RCB beat PBKS by 6 runs to win their maiden IPL title. The Challengers posted 190 for 9 in 20 overs and restricted Punjab to 184 for 7 in 20 overs to script history in Ahmedabad.
