Considered as one of the greatest players to have ever graced the cricketing stage, Sachin Tendulkar, in his illustrious career scripted numerous records, creating a niche for himself and setting an example for millions. With almost no parallel to the Master Blaster in global cricket, Tendulkar remained between the 22 yards for 24-long years creating a record for the longest international career in cricket.

At the time where cricketers used to play for an average of 15 years, Tendulkar was the only one who remained associated with the game for almost 25 years, which remains a record. In almost the quarter of a century he remained associated with the game, Tendulkar attained great heights not only in terms of the runs scored and the records created but as an overall ambassador of the game. On most of the occasions in Indian cricket, Tendulkar used to be the only silver lining for the Men in Blue with the other batters in the camp failing to impress against the who's who of the bowling sphere.
