Ravindra Jadeja's Champions Trophy debut was in a historic edition when India lifted the trophy for the second time.
Ravindra Jadeja has been an asset to the Indian cricket team since making his debut in the ODIs in 2009 against Sri Lanka. Jadeja, who plays as an all-rounder for the Men in Blue, has fulfilled his all-round duties to the best of his abilities. The fiery left-hand batter has produced some sensational performances and helped India win crucial clashes.
Jadeja's strength has always been his hard-hitting abilities and he has utilised his batting prowess to dictate terms against the best of the bowlers during the death overs especially.
There have been uncountable matches in which the fierce all-rounder has shown all-round abilities equally with the bat and the ball. While as far as batting is concerned, Jadeja is has been an explosive lower middle-order batter for India and apart from this, one of the sought-after spinners for India.
Not only has he showcased skills with the bat, he has also displayed some magic with ball for India over the years to establish himself as bowler to rely on. In a total of 204 matches he has played, Jadeja has scored 2806 runs with his bat and also picked 231 wickets. Not only has he proved himself in the bilateral series' but also delivered for Team India during big ICC events.

Ravindra Jadeja's Champions Trophy debut was in a historic edition when India lifted the trophy for the second time. After being declared as joint-winners along with Sri Lanka in the 2002 edition, India won the ICC ODI World Cup in 2011 and followed it up with the 2013 Champions Trophy triumph.
Jadeja played a pivotal role in India's winning campaign in the Champions Trophy, claiming 12 wickets in five matches under the leadership of MS Dhoni. In total, after making his debut in the 2013 edition, Jadeja has played in the 2017 and the 2025 edition, which was recently won by India again. He has represented India in 15 Champions Trophy matches till now and claimed a total of 21 wickets in three editions.
Jadeja sits on the seventh spot in the list of the top wicket-takers in the showpiece ICC event. With one five-wicket haul, he has recorded the best figures of 5/36. Apart from the Champions Trophy, Jadeja has also played pivotal role for India in other major ICC tournaments as well. In the recently-concluded 2025 edition, he could not feature in the top-10 list of bowlers with most wickets, though he delivered the winning shot for India in the final against New Zealand.
