New Delhi: Indian wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel continued his brilliant run in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 with an explosive hundred off 78 balls on Monday. Playing for Uttar Pradesh, the 24-year-old batter struck his maiden List A century in his team's Group B encounter against Baroda helping UP put up a massive 369 runs on the board after batting first.
Cementing his place at the number three position, Jurel remained unbeaten on 160 runs off just 101 balls which included as many as 15 boundaries and 8 massive sixes. Jurel has been fabulous in the ongoing VHT as this was the third successive match where he showcased his class with absolute grit and determination.
In the first and second encounter at the premier domestic tournament, Jurel notched up brilliant half-centuries for his side to send a clear message to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) displaying his art at the most crucial batting position.

Rinku played a composed knock of 63 runs in just 67 balls to help the side cross the 350-run mark and give Baroda a tough target to chase. Opener Abhishek Goswami also scored 51 runs to mark a good start for the side in the game.
At the time of filing this report, Baroda had scored 80 for 1 in 15 overs chasing a huge target of 370 runs. The side will have to showcase great courage to notch up a win in the match.
