New Delhi: The highly anticipated GOAT Tour India 2025, featuring Argentine football icon Lionel Messi, is set for a blockbuster spectacle in Hyderabad on December 13, Saturday. The three-day, four-city visit is dubbed as one of the biggest sporting events of the year and gives the Indian football fans a rare chance to see the legend from close quarters.
Messi, widely regarded as the greatest footballer of all time, will travel to Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai across three days (December 13, 14, 15). Each city is hosting special events, football clinics and exhibition matches to welcome the FIFA World Cup winner.
The tour will begin in Hyderabad after Messi lands in the city at 4 PM, before heading to Uppal Stadium for a three-hour programme, which also features an exhibition match with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
But the most headline-making event will be held at the iconic Taj Falaknuma Palace. As per a report in TOI, organisers of The GOAT India Tour have announced a special meet-and-greet programme in which 100 exclusive slots have been opened to get clicked with Messi. The price of one photograph with the Argentine icon is set at a whopping Rs 9.95 lakhs plus GST. Fans can book the slots on the District app.
The GOAT Tour will kick off in Kolkata before moving to Kolkata and Mumbai. The tour will conclude in New Delhi, where Messi will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and attend a function at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. During his visit, he will meet several celebrities and multiple chief ministers.

This is Messi's second visit to India. He came to the country in 2011 to play for Argentina in a friendly match against Venezuela at the Salt Lake Stadium.
