New Delhi: Bayern Munich set a new Bundesliga record of 44 successive rounds at the top of the standings with a 3-1 victory against St. Pauli.

Bayern’s place in the record books was secured had they even lost but Luis Diaz and Nicolas Jackson scored in stoppage time to ensure the full three points from the match.

Aaron Anselmino and Karim Adeyemi score were on target on either side of the break as Borussia Dortmund defeated Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 to jump to third.

Heidenheim struck two goals stoppage time to win at Union 2-1 and rise above the bottom while Cologne drew 1-1 at Werder Bremen. Hoffenheim routed Augsburg 3-0.
