Matthijs de Ligt scored a dramatic last-gasp equaliser to help Manchester United pull off a thrilling 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur and continue their unbeaten run in the Premier League on Saturday. Richarlison thought he had won it for Spurs when he scored the second goal to give his side a 2-1 lead in the stoppage time, with less than five minutes left on the clock.
However, De Ligt rose to the occasion with a towering header on United's final corner to help Ruben Amorim's men secure a crucial point after they squandered their 1-goal lead to go a goal behind in injury time. With the draw, United extended their unbeaten run to five matches in the Premier League.
Manchester United enjoyed control for most of the game after Mbeumo scored the opener for the visitors in the 32nd minute at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Mbeumo got on the end of a brilliant cross from Amad Diallo from the right wing and headed home to give United the lead.

After winning three in a row, United have drawn their last two games to remain outside the top four. They had a chance to go second on the points table with a win over Spurs on Saturday, however, Amorim's men ended up squandering the opportunity once again.
United are currently 7th on the table with 18 points, just one point behind Manchester City, who are second with 19 points in 10 matches. Spurs are third with as many points from 11 matches. However, they are winless in their last five matches at home in the Premier League.
