New Delhi: Anthropic has announced the significant growth of Claude Financial Services with the introduction of new tools helping to simplify complicated financial processes. The update has a specific add-in in Excel, expanded real-time data connectors, and pre-built agent skills to automate analytical and reporting processes. These improvements are based on the performance record of Sonnet 4.5 in the top job in the financial field, and Claude is now a strong AI companion of analysts, bankers, and portfolio managers.
This growth will help to make the financial analysis process both more transparent and quicker by integrating Claude with popular industry services. With an increasing roster of integrations and tools, Claude is becoming more specific to the needs of financial professionals doing data-driven work instead of the general AI assistant.
Anthropic has introduced Claude as an Excel beta so that users can work with Claude right in Microsoft Excel. The AI has the ability to read, edit, and generate spreadsheets with an explanation of all the modifications it does. It is able to debug formulas, fill templates, create new financial models, and maintain sophisticated dependencies. The feature is in preview with the Max, Enterprise, and Teams users currently and will grow broadly after preliminary completion with 1,000 participants.
The live information provided by such platforms as S&P Capital IQ, Moody's, LSEG, Aiera and Morningstar is accessible to Claude using their new connectors. These integrations allow real-time responses of earnings calls and investor events, credit ratings, and market information.
Anthropic also unveiled 6 new agent skills in the finance field, including discounted cash flow modelling, analysis of a similar company, and launching coverage reports. These new features continue to make Claude a flexible AI solution to deal with due diligence to valuation and portfolio analysis.
