Apple opens first South India store in Bengaluru’s Hebbal tech hub
Apple has opened its first South India store in Bengaluru's Hebbal, featuring the iPhone 16 lineup, MacBook Pro M4, and free Today at Apple sessions.
New Delhi: Apple has officially lifted the curtain on its newest Indian store, Apple Hebbal, in Bengaluru. The store marks Apple’s first physical presence in South India and its third in the country after Mumbai’s Apple BKC and Delhi’s Apple Saket. Bengaluru, often called India’s technology capital, will now play host to what Apple describes as a space to shop, learn, and connect.
The opening adds to Apple’s growing push in India, where it has expanded both online and offline operations in recent years. The tech giant sees India as one of its fastest-growing markets, with local stores now serving as key touchpoints for both consumers and businesses.
A look inside Apple Hebbal
The store will feature the complete Apple lineup, including the new iPhone 16 range, MacBook Pro with the M4 chip, iPad Air paired with the Apple Pencil Pro, and the Apple Watch Series 10. Accessories such as AirPods 4 and AirTag will also be available.
Apple has designed the store with Bengaluru’s community in mind. Visitors can explore product tables, book one-on-one sessions with Apple Specialists, or collect online orders through the dedicated Apple Pickup section. A Genius Bar has also been set up for technical support and troubleshooting.
Interestingly, the team at Apple Hebbal has been drawn from across the country. Seventy employees representing 15 Indian states are part of the launch team, trained to provide guidance not just on products but also on financing options and Apple’s Trade-In programme.
More than just a store
Apple Hebbal is being positioned as a hub for education and creativity. The store will host free daily "Today at Apple" sessions, where customers can learn skills ranging from taking better photos on iPhones to using Apple Pencil on iPads. Group bookings are also available for families, students, or small businesses.
Bengaluru’s startup culture is also on Apple’s radar. Dedicated Business Pros will be on hand to help entrepreneurs and small businesses explore digital tools, integration, and scaling solutions. For many, this could mean access to advice on setting up systems or streamlining workflows using Apple’s ecosystem.
Carbon neutral and community-focused
Like all Apple facilities worldwide, Apple Hebbal will run entirely on renewable energy and operate as carbon neutral. For opening day, Apple has lined up small celebratory touches for visitors from exclusive Apple Hebbal wallpapers to a curated Apple Music playlist featuring local Bengaluru artists.
Grand opening tomorrow
Apple Hebbal will open doors to the public on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 1 p.m. IST. With this launch, Apple deepens its presence in India’s tech capital while highlighting its growing investment in the country’s retail and consumer space.
