Apple is preparing to launch its next high-end smartphone, the iPhone 17 Pro Max, and some of the early information points to significant changes on all levels. The Pro Max is likely to be the most advanced iPhone from Apple to date, with a powerful A19 Pro chip, a new design, and camera improvements. The gadget will be released together with the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and also a new version called the iPhone 17 Air.
In India, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to begin at around 164,900, which would mean that it will be in the ultra-premium category. According to the report of iPhone-Ticker.de, the official launch may be on September 9, 2025. Here's a look at all that is expected in the next big launch by Apple.
The iPhone 17 line may be introduced by Apple on September 9, 2025. In India, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is supposed to cost Rs 164,900. It will have a better design, performance, and camera, and it will be a big release in the 2025 lineup of Apple.
Leaks suggest a revamped design with a rectangular triple-camera module in a left-aligned configuration against the conventional square setup. Apple can even move the logo a little bit on the back panel. The iPhone 17 Pro Max may have five colours: white, black, dark blue, orange, and grey – all the old colours plus adventurous colours in 2025.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max is also rumoured to include the new A19 Pro chip manufactured on the 3nm TSMC process, which should be more efficient and faster. It may come with 12GB RAM, increasing AI performance and multitasking. The battery life may also improve significantly, and a 5,000 mAh cell is likely the largest battery Apple has ever put in an iPhone.
Apple might also keep the triple 48MP rear camera system, but it can improve its telephoto lens using the Tetraprism system. A jump to 8K video recording is also in discussion. The front camera may be switched to a 24MP camera to take clearer selfies. Regarding the display, the users will get a 120 Hz ProMotion OLED display with thinner bezels.
