ChatGPT Go is a new subscription tier of OpenAI available in India at a very affordable price of Rs 399. The strategy would help to provide advanced AI tools to users in India at a lower cost. It includes multiple improvements upon the free version, such as increased message limits, additional image generations and increased memory.
This is the first market in which OpenAI has launched this tier, indicating that the company is keen on increasing its users in the region. The subscription comes with the support of seamless payment without the premium costs that Indian users can unlock using the UPI method.
The ChatGPT Go plan price in India is Rs 399 per month. OpenAI has also continued with its other plans: ChatGPT Plus at Rs 1,999 and ChatGPT Pro at Rs 19,999. The Go plan can be paid through UPI, which is the most popular digital mode of payment in the country, and this will make it convenient for subscribers.
Nick Turley, Head of ChatGPT, has stated that the Go plan has ten times the message limits, ten times the amount of image generations, ten times the amount of file uploads and double the memory compared to the free tier. Although OpenAI has not yet given precise numbers, the updates are being framed as drastic improvements that can be used by ordinary people.
The users must open the ChatGPT application via their phones to subscribe. Once logged in, a click on the Upgrade button will reveal the Go subscription button. After the selection, users can pay and instantly access the new plan services.
