Powered by Musk’s Grok AI chatbot, Grokipedia claims to offer an "unbiased, truthful source of knowledge" on the internet, with its AI model fact-checking content automatically. Musk announced the launch of Grokipedia.com version 0.1 on X, stating that even this early version surpasses Wikipedia.
Grokipedia operates differently from its predecessor; it functions akin to a search engine, requiring no user login for topic searches. While Wikipedia relies on human editors and volunteers operating under a non-profit, Creative Commons license, Grokipedia is linked to Musk's for-profit ventures and utilises proprietary AI systems.
