Google launches Nano Banana Pro: Smarter, sharper Gemini 3 Pro image generator
Google has launched Nano Banana Pro, a Gemini 3 Pro–based image generator that creates sharper, smarter and more accurate visuals. It offers advanced editing controls, better text rendering and real-time search integration for more contextual images.
New Delhi: Google has announced a new image generator called Nano Banana Pro, which is based on Gemini 3 Pro and will provide a more accurate, clear and intelligent image. The tool introduces significant advancements to the text representation, editing functionality, and integration of real-life knowledge, which makes it simpler to convert ideas to refined pictures. It is being rolled out on the key apps of Google with free and paid access levels.
The new model is an advancement of the previous Nano Banana system, as it removes grainy details and provides enhanced consistency in faces and objects and a higher quality of outputs up to 4K. Through further search integration and diverse availability, Google will make advanced image creation available to all users, both professional and businesses.
What is Nano Banana Pro?
Google Nano Banana Pro is the most recent image generation model based on Gemini 3 Pro. The user can enter a prompt and receive an image in more detail, or they can upload a picture and make certain changes to a particular section. According to Google, the model is more precise, more imaginative, and much more capable of comprehending orders than its predecessor.
How does it work?
The tool is based on enhanced reasoning and language comprehension of Gemini 3 Pro. It is able to pull information from Google Search and thus create visuals using real-time information like weather or live sports action. This renders it contextual and timely images.
Its capacity to create readable text without the effects of cleaning inside images is one of its best attributes. It accepts titles, long paragraphs and several languages, which assist users in making posters, school projects, social graphics and infographics using proper lettering.
Nano Banana Pro is equipped with a set of manual controls. The user is able to change camera angles, lighting, focus, background blur and particular objects. It also enables partial editing without having to edit the entire image and can produce outputs of up to 4K resolution.
Google indicates that the model has the capability to integrate a combination of up to 14 images with a maintenance of up to five faces. This is useful in ensuring the same appearance of the product shots, character designs, drawings and style-suited images in the hands of the designers.
Availability and pricing
The tool can be found in the Gemini app on both free and paid versions, and restricted generations are under free ones. Pro and Ultra subscribers of Google AI Plus have increased access. Google also has Google Search (US) AI Mode and NotebookLM, Google Ads, Google Slides, Google Videos, and the Gemini API, Google AI Studio, and Vertex AI as a developer and enterprise offering. The Flow video tool by Google will be helpful to Ultra subscribers.
All of the output of Google image tools has a watermark that cannot be seen called SynthID, which indicates whether the image was generated by the Google AI. There will also be a small Gemini sparkle mark for Free and Pro users, and Ultra users and developers will also be given unmarked and clean images that can be used in commercial work.
