New Delhi: Microsoft has announced its initial Xbox Game Pass line since the Ultimate plan had to be increased in price, thus evoking a dispute among fans. Microsoft has recently raised the monthly price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate by 50 percent, about $120 annually, raising it from $19.99 to $29.99. Though the move was criticised by many players, Microsoft justified the new pricing by saying they have a broader catalogue, better quality cloud streaming, and other new partner benefits like Fortnite Crew and Ubisoft Plus Classics.
Microsoft is continuing with the rollout of its content in October 2025 regardless of the backlash.
