MSI expands ‘Make in India’ with Katana and Crosshair laptops

MSI has expanded its 'Make in India' initiative by locally manufacturing its flagship Katana and Crosshair laptops with NVIDIA RTX 50 Series Graphics at its Chennai facility. The move strengthens MSI's commitment to India's fast-growing gaming and tech market while making advanced laptops more accessible.

MSI has announced that it will expand its Make in India programme by producing its flagship Katana and Crosshair laptop series locally in its Chennai plant with Syrma SGS Technology. The new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Graphics will now be available in both series and will provide Indian consumers with access to next-generation gaming and productivity devices manufactured domestically.

India is emerging as one of the fastest developing markets at MSI due to the increased demand among gamers, content makers and professionals. The introduction of the Katana and Crosshair brands to the local manufacturing process will underscore MSI’s belief in the strength of the Indian electronics ecosystem, as well as bring high-end technology at more affordable prices to Indian customers.

The Katana series features a smooth design and strong performance by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series graphics. MSI Crosshair Series

The Crosshair series aims at esports and competitive gamers with the RTX 50 Series Graphics and Intel Core processors to achieve the highest qualifications. It is fitted with high refresh rate screens, extremely rapid response times and advanced thermal features to allow continuous play. The Crosshair will be available in India at Rs 189,990 in an introductory price due to its futuristic design based on the gaming culture.
